Manchester Pride is the annual festival for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community.

This year, the University of Manchester plan to use the festival to commemorate the life of the late Alan Turing. They will be running a number of Fringe events and participating in the parade.

Their Equality and Diversity Officer, Paul Marks-Jones talked about the man’s legacy, and what the university has planned.
