The Lesbian and Gay Foundation have been encouraging people across Stockport and the North West to display a rainbow flag.

This evening, Under the Rainbow heard from the LGF’s Andrew Gilliver about why it’s important to raise people’s awareness.

Hate Crime motivated by homophobia and transphobia continues to be a problem in society. Dennis Bishop, the Community Relations Officer for the police in Stockport spoke to Under the Rainbow about the ways that victims can report crimes. And if they’re uncomfortable dealing with the police, how they can also report hate crimes anonymously.
