Amateur dramatic theatre has a longstanding tradition in the UK and Stockport’s Garrick Theatre is one of the oldest in the country. Susanne Pendlebury went down to Exchange Street and members Peter Aspinall, David Glindon and Helen Farrell tell us what the Garrick is all about.
On 7 February 2012 the fifth Proud of Stockport awards were held at Stockport Town Hall ballroom to honour some of the Borough’s unsung heroes.

The Lesbian Community Project is based in the centre of Manchester. They have numerous services dedicated to lesbian and bisexual women, and host a number of groups. Millie from the LCP spoke to Under the Rainbow to tell us all about it.
