Peter Hook & The Light performing at Manchester Cathedral

Peter Hook & The Light are performing the first two New Order albums, “Movement” and “Power Corruption And Lies” tomorrow night at a sold-out gig at Manchester Cathedral.

Hooky is no stranger to Stockport as he and his New Order band mates recorded and self produced their debut album “Movement” at Stockport’s world famous Strawberry Studios.

Pure FM’s Russ Smith recently caught up with Hooky to find out more.

Peter Hook On Stockport Focus

Peter Hook has written his 2nd book, Unknown Pleasures: Inside Joy Division in which he gives the inside story of the ledgendary band in which he played bass.

Hooky is no stranger to stockport spending many recording sessions with both Joy Division and New Order in the world famous Strawberry Studios on Waterloo Road in the town centre where his Hacienda Record label has recently rented office space.
