Village Manchester is a football club which aims to be gay friendly, and has a majority of gay and bisexual players.

They are currently ranked in the middle of the Premier Division of the Manchester Accountants League.

Apr 2013 - Manchester's role in LGB history

Later this month the Lesbian and Gay Foundation will be hosting a talk by local historian Paul Fairweather – about the important role Manchester played in the fight for equality.

It’ll be covering four decades in the twentieth century, and what the events mean for the lesbian, gay and bisexual community.

Paul Fairweather spoke to Under the Rainbow. He explained where the talk begins.

Tonight Under the Rainbow found out about a new sports team for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community.

Manchester Canalsiders is a rugby league club that’s been set up to encourage all LGBT people into sport.

Two of the organisers, Martin and Stan, have been speaking to Under the Rainbow.

Skin From Skunk Anansie On The Guest List

Skunk Anansie are coming to Manchester on the 22nd of March to play at Academy 1 in support of their 5th studio album “Black Traffic”
